Starting Out With Pastel Pencils - Michael's Story

In podcast 80 we read out a nice comment from Michael telling us how pleased he was to have completed the free art courses and delighted he had found a new hobby after a massive stroke a few years ago. Michael has just sent us this painting of the Tiger cub project that is work in progress and requested that we show just what can be achieved after a few projects, I will let Michael take up the story:Michael's Pastel Pencil Tiger Cub Work In Progress

"Hi Colin, I wont take up too much of your time. Just wanted to say Thanks! I joined a few days ago, after I completed your free pictures and I am genuinely excited to have found something that I can actually do. I just started the tiger cub and I am having a lot of fun doing it. It will probably take me a while to finish it (I can't work for too long at a time), but I'll get there. Just wanted to show any of those folks out there that might have some doubts about whether they can do this - let me attest that if a disabled person can do it, they can too! It may not be the greatest quality, but hey, do it for fun!"

This should inspire everyone to give the pastel pencils a try. I will let you all know how Michael gets on with this painting in due course and if I was a betting man I would put money on it being a winner.Click Here To Learn How To Draw Using Pastel Pencils.
