Incredible Finger Detail in Pastel Pencils

I am always surprised by the incredible detail that can be achieved with the pastel pencils, here is a good example of just how good they are. This photo is of one of the fingers in my new painting of 'Two Children' note the cuticle and finger nail detail referred to on this weeks podcast.
