Can you mix Cretacolour with Faber Castell Pastel Pencils?

Faber Castell LogoStudents will know from watching me on youtube and on this website that I only choose to use the Faber-Castell Pitt range of Pastel Pencils. The main reason I do this is because of their quality, to me they are the best pastel pencil on the market.Another reason is because if I introduced colours from other ranges (carbothello, cretacolour, derwent) then it would be unfair to expect the student watching to have pencils from all of those manufacturers. So even though I stick to the Faber Castell range, I think it is a good idea for students to mix and match if they have other makes. This brings us back to the question above, can you mix cretacolour pastel pencils with faber-castell? Yes.We choose to sell the faber-castell range on our online store but if you wish to include pencils from other manufacturers then I'm sure your local store will have various ranges available to you. What makes do you use other than Faber-Castell? Have you mixed them in a picture? Let us know in the comments below.
