Brian's Pencil Storage Idea

One of our members, Brian, sent us his clever way of storing his pastel pencils and we wanted to share it with you. Here's the email sent to us:

I wanted to share my pastel kit as I call it, I bought this binder from the Staples store and then bought the sleeves for it on Amazon.ca, each sleeve hold 54 pastel pencils and I have 5 sleeves in my kit, that’s a total of 270 pastel pencils. I have Faber-Castel Pitt, Carbothello, Bruynzeel and also Cretacolour in my kit, I do have Caran D’Ache but don’t generally use them as they are brittle and hard to sharpen even with a knife or blade. I love the kit as it holds all my pencils and tools so I can take it with me where ever I go.Now my question is, How does Colin store his pastel pencils and I am wondering if I should sort them in my kit in color and shade or as I have them now in by brand?

Thanks to Brian for sending over the email and hope that others find this interesting! Colin stores his pencils in jars just underneath his monitor as seen in this photograph from our instagram account. How do you store your pencils? Let us know in the comments below!
